INTRODUCTION

Motion graphics (sometimes mograph) are pieces of animation or digital footage which create the illusion of motion or rotation and are usually combined with audio for use in multimedia projects (Wikipedia)

If you’ve ever seen a commercial on TV for a big brand, then you’ve definitely seen motion graphics at work. Motion graphics is a skill on its own but when combined with video editing skills it makes a job candidate stand out for a video editing job. In the creative industry motion graphics artists are well sought after for the creation of visually appealing animated texts, objects, and elements in a video. Creation of explainer videos which could also be done with the popular whiteboard animation style, Logo animation compositing of elements in video production, etc.

Motion graphics artists earn between 200 thousand Naira to more than half a million Naira in Nigeria. Freelance opportunities are also open to motion graphics artists as there is a high demand for slideshow videos and explainer videos which are ported to social media platforms or mainstream media such as Tv etc.

We basically teach you motion graphics using Adobe After Effects which is an industry standard application. After going through our Tutorials you’ll have the skills to get a job or freelance on various freelance platforms. We’ll educate you on the skills employers are seeking and how to seek continuous development.

We offer both online and physical classes or both. Our Physical classes come with online teaching as well.

Online class

Tutorials are done 100% online via WhatsApp

This is for absolute beginners who want to learn from scratch or beginners who know just a little about Motion Graphics design. Training is meant to teach newbies to rise up to the intermediate level.

Cost – 8000 Naira

Online and physical class

Tutorials are taught primarily in a physical class, in addition, important information is passed online via WhatsApp. Some tutorials and assignments are also distributed via Whatsapp. Students have access to a physical class, which takes place at weekends. Primarily Saturdays and Sundays or maybe Fridays. These time schedules will be communicated to students via WhatsApp. This training is meant to raise students from beginner to semi-pro level. With some personal effort, you’ll become a pro in no time after going through this training. You will be given a series of assignments after the training which you can send in for marking and on successful completion of all the assignments,  you can list our company on your CV!, as a company you have worked with. That gives you an advantage during the job recruitment process done by companies. You have our permission to do that once you fulfill the aforementioned condition.

Cost – 45000 Naira.

Duration

8 Weekends which will span over two months. Students will be split into Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Physical training classes to avoid overcrowding.

Location

We have two tutorial locations which are

1. Our office at Isolo – Diamond Plaza, Ile Ibadan bustop, Isolo. A full description will be sent to you after payment of training fees.

2. Ipaja Training space.

UPGRADING

If you paid for the ONLINE training and you wish to be taught further in a Physical class, you only need to pay 40,000 Naira extra to upgrade from the Intermediate to the professional level of our training.

You’ll receive a certificate on completion of this training.
